Teaching
Since its creation in 2025, anyone can enroll for free in the SWAYAM course, Introduction to Digital Humanities. I see teaching and mentoring as my calling. Curriculum design and pedagogical innovation are my forte. As the founder of the FLAME Literary and Cultural Studies major in the Department of Humanities, I have designed the curriculum and floated new courses such as Digital Cultures, the Indian City, South Asian Cultural Studies, and more. Since being the key architect of the FLAME undergraduate liberal curriculum, I have taught a wide variety of courses, supervised undergraduate and graduate research, conducted Faculty Development Programmes in Digital Studies and AI for universities across India, and have also held training workshops for doctoral scholars.
My courses are rooted in contemporary needs and are often cross-listed with Humanities, Literature, Communication, and interdisciplinary doctoral studies departments. These courses draw a diverse set of students in a true interdisciplinary spirit. I have also been actively involved in public pedagogy outside of the University and written articles on digital learning and the state of the University in India to catalogue these innovations.
