Maya is Director at Milli Archives Foundation and works on public history. Her academic research in digital humanities seeks to catalogue and build on public facing scholarship to unleash archival discovery in India. She teaches in the Humanities department at FLAME University
Since 2023, I have been invited to be an Associate Editor of IJHAC: A Journal of Humanities, Arts and Computing: A Journal of Digital Humanities edited by Edinburgh University Press. I also serve on the editorial board of the journal, Public Humanities, which is an international open-access, cross-disciplinary, peer-reviewed journal by Cambridge University Press. I serve as a World Advisory Board Member at the University of Rochester. Since its establishment, I am on the advisory board of India’s first journal of Digital Humanities, Digital Humanities Intersections . Nirmala Menon and I edit the pioneering Digital Humanities in Asia book series.
